IF I CANNOT DANCE IT IS NOT MY REVOLUTION

If I cannot dance it is not my revolution is a creation piece developed with adolescents aged between fourteen and sixteen.

Based on a quote from the anarchist and feminist activist Emma Goldman, with this project we explored the idea of protest. How has neoliberalism occupied our free time? What impact does meritocratic thinking have on human affection and individual value? Here, we question blind obedience to authority, the violence of hierarchy, and the obligation to answer inappropriate questions. We also play with reversing roles between parents and children, teachers and students, adults and minors.
